  Hello Needle Felter Explorers,   SUNDAY'S a coming .   Today is just days away from Resurrection Sunday this year 2026, so we will be looking at needle felted crosses ✝️ onto various items. Cookie cutter crosses (the above photo) are very easy to make and to embellish with dyed curly locks which look like flowers once stabbed in. Jesus is called the "Rose 🌹 of Sharon" in the Bible, just one of His many names.  I love the royal purple robe draped across the cross ✝️ because Jesus is king of kings 🤴 ROYALTY 👑   Rose of Sharon (a name for Jesus Christ) & a cross ✝️ are shown on this one egg (front & back).  I believe these were made on egg 🥚 shaped polystyrene ovals or you can needle felt the egg shape on a wool oval you make.   Hello Fellow Needle Felter Explorers,  What a glorious day is coming "Resurrection Sunday" (many know it as Easter). The Lamb of God, Jesus who was slain inorder for us to be reconciled to God. Thank you Jesus. 5" hoops  The above 2D hoop wool paintings were felted onto a piece of sheet felt (approx. 25 cents for a full sheet, some use  wool felt sheets which cost quite a bit more). Cut the felt background sheet larger than the hoop and lightly pencil the circle shape on it. Now take thin wisps of wool for your background (I used blue, but you could use sunset colors) and with your multi-tool stab in. Make the body by stabbing curly wool lamb locks in an oval shape. Next make the black lamb head & ears (NO eyes needed) on your mat separately. Felt the head into the body. Hopefully you remembered to leave enough room for words.  Hello Needle Felter Explorers,  With springtime quickly approaching I love cherry 🌸 blossoms & bluebirds appearing in our yard in NC (spotted my first bluebird in late February 2026 this year, wow).  Washington DC's cherry 🍒 blossom 🌸 festival for 2026 (our nation's 250th anniversary) is March 20 - April 16th (predicting Peak to be March 29th - April 1st, 4 days). I have never gone but would love too. This is a freehand pillow I made on a case that my dryerballs from Walmart came in. One side has cloth and the other is a zippered plastic.  By freehand I mean:  *I used my transfer pen from Living Felt to place the photo design on the cloth side of the bag/pillow. *I used a small foam pad in-between the case for stabbing (38 needle intially and a multi-tool filled with 42's for a smoother finish) the design. *I NF (38 needle) the bluebird and the tree branches directly into the fabric side of the pillow. *I used blue and pink wisps of wool for the blurry s...

 Hello Needle Felter Explorers, Here's some cuteness 😍 overload Sleeping Mouse 🐁   This weeks blog has to do with believing in / respecting the process. What does that mean ?    Process in the Webster Dictionary means "A series of actions or steps taken inorder to achieve a particular end/goal."    I was trying to make a unicorn 🦄 head for the first time, it turned into a Mallard duck head. It's front was long and skinny which equaled a ducks bill, when I looked at it. My 2nd try turned into the unicorn (above photo) head. It is rounder (ball shaped) with a shorter oval added to the front for it's mussel, than the gap was covered over. See the difference in the two above photos?
