YouTube Needle Felters Who Have Inspired Me #13

 Hello Needle Felter Explorers,

Today I will be talking about needle felting artists who have and continue to inspire my needle felting creations. They can also inspire you.

When we found YouTube my husband was enjoying wilderness/survival campers and moto cross racers. After my first lesson in needle felting I wanted more. So my husband suggested using YouTube "they have everything". I typed in needle felting and the rest is history.

Felts By Philippa (based in the UK, Yorkshire)

I enjoy her mild demeanor, soothing English accent, excellent teaching skills and friendliness. She is best known for her needle felted Highland cows. On her YouTube channel besides needle felting she shows you the English countryside with her dogs and takes us on field trips of craft fairs, workshops, interviews and more. She also has shown other crafts like crochet, needle punching and knitting that she enjoys. Her openness about her finances, struggles and accomplishments with her needle felting business is refreshing.

Wreaths I needle felted under Philippa's instructions.

 Sarafina Fiber Art (USA, Maryland)

Sarah is a talented artist who specializes in realistic needle felted animals. On her YouTube channel she does "live" chats or felt-a-longs (I enjoy watching first than going back over to make the item). She develops and sells many helpful needle felting tools like the "Zullitool", Swax, Stabbit Wabbit Pad and various supple packs to make animals, birds, fish and more.

Sleeping 😴 mouse 🐁 I've made from watching Sarah.

Liongate Farm (USA, Oregon)

Karen S. is a fabulous teacher and storyteller. She runs the farm and a wedding venue with her husband plus the needle felting products and shop. Her items are whimsical and quirky 🤪. Her shortcuts are very doable. I like purchasing her needle felting wool and curly locks (great color combinations, see the wooly sheep ornaments below).

Living Felt (USA, Texas)

Marie has a band of "Fiber fairies" (young women employees) that make her small needle felting company work like clockwork. She has an almost weekly "LIVE" YouTube Wednesday program to share new or on sale products. They have online classes to purchase, with various NF experts teaching you. Besides needle felting they have a large line of wet felting supplies and tutorials.

Thanks for coming along on this adventure, God Bless.

I hope you continue to come along.
